Sarah Hendler is a Los Angeles-based fine jewelry designer and curator. Born and raised on the Gold Coast of Long Island, she was surrounded by beauty. Whether admiring the classic staples her grandmother wore everyday or fawning over the show-stopping gems her mother pulled out at just the right moment, Sarah has always recognized the significance of jewelry in a woman's life. Her family's thoughtfully curated collections reflect an appreciation for gemstones, craftsmanship, and uniqueness that has shaped her point of view. Sarah’s interest in film and theater lead her to the West Coast in the early aughts to pursue a career as a producer in the film industry. After meeting her husband, chef and restaurateur Vinny Dotolo, she put most of her efforts into the restaurant business, having since opened critically acclaimed Animal, Son of a Gun, Petit Trois and Trois Mec. Never losing touch with her passion for accessories and clothes led her to style private clients for red carpet events, and the success of curating a small collection of David Webb estate pieces for the store TENOVERSIX in Dallas reinvigorated her passion for fine jewelry. Sarah continues collecting handpicked vintage treasures today, and a selection of her estate finds are sold at Nickey Kehoe, a design studio and boutique on Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles. The first full Sarah Hendler contemporary collection launched in the Fall of 2016 during Paris Fashion Week with For Future Reference, a New York- and Los Angeles-based brand development agency.
